Milton Glaser is one of the most recognized and decorated designers of the modern era of design. From having created some of the most iconic works of the twentieth-century through his distinct style and approach to design, there is no doubt he has left his mark in the world of graphic arts. Working in the Push Pins Studio and co-founding New York Magazine, his work embodies the life and spirit existing within the bustling streets of New York City.
For his part in facilitating the global constructive expression of art and design, he was awarded the prestigious National Award of Arts by both President Barack Obama and Mrs. Michelle Obama in 2009. This lead him to become the first and only graphic designer to ever receive this honorable award.
